I'm glad you like it! I took it with a film SLR but the concept should be the same. Since the camera has a built in light meter which it uses to set the exposure for the image, I "tricked" it by metering off of the bright sky. Basically, I underexposed the image by having a fast shutter speed. This wiped out all the detail in the initial ridge line.
